Personal experiences of mental illness have been captured and published in Powerful Minds, a booklet which shares the stories of people who have experienced psychosis. Together with the perspectives of parents and partners, the result is a collection of honest and open accounts written with the aim of helping other people who may be going through the same thing.

Carers Action Worcestershire have put together a series of talks on legal and financial issues related to caring. These talks offer free, impartial and expert advice on topics such as benefits advice, paying for care, wills, trusts, lasting powers of attorney etc.

Worcestershire Association of Carers has launched a countywide GP Carer Support Service providing careres support within each GP Practice within Worcestershire.

If you are a carer and would like to access this service please speak to any member of staff at your GP Surgery and ask to be referred to a GP Carer Support Adviser.
